After I finished at the University of Regina, I started to work at MarkeTel as a Junior
Developer which then turned into a Computer Programmer position which then turned into
the postion of Software Developer.
Some of the things that I worked on at MarkeTel were a internet parsing engine and their
internal site. The internal site of MarkeTel was used not only for employee information
but also as a CMS and support database. Working on this particular project brought me
great experience with PEAR, PHP and MySQL. Working on the internet parsing engine gave
me vast knowledge on PERL and Javascript.
To the left is a picture of myself working at Marketel as well as some pictures of the
great people that worked at MarkeTel. I enjoyed the fact that this company was also
a fairly small company to work for but with customers all over the continent. Working for
this company was a joy and I will miss the people. Some of the crazy things that used
to happen at MarkeTel include theme days in which we were supposed to dress up depending
on the theme. This happened for only a number of Fridays but as you can see from the pictures
it was much enjoyed. The Friday BBQ's in the summer were always a blast as well. Thankfully,
I always got to play with the knives. I wish all the best to everyone that worked at
